Dr. Mariyana Ivanova is an endocrinology specialist in Sofia with over 32 years of experience and professional interests in the field of diabetes, thyroid disorders, and obesity. She also performs diagnosis and treatment of pituitary and adrenal disorders, endocrine hypertension, and other hormonal and metabolic disorders. A passionate animal lover (especially dogs), she enjoys mountain walks in her free time.

Education Graduated from the Medical University of Sofia in 1991. She specialized in Internal Medicine in 1998 and Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases in 2006.
Experience After her graduation, Dr. Ivanova started working at DCC 21 Sofia. From 1994 to 1995, she worked in the First Internal Department of IV MBAL Sofia, after which she consecutively worked at DCC 20 and MC Lora Sofia. She has practiced at MC NKB (National Cardiology Hospital) and MDC Heylan Care 2 (MDC Blox Mladost). Currently, she is part of the team at MC Pentagram.
