Eye Clinic and Medical Center ‘PENTAGRAM’ Opens ENT Office for Children Consultations

The Ophthalmic Clinic and MC ‘PENTAGRAM’ is taking another step towards expanding its portfolio of specialists.

From May 1, 2026, a ENT OFFICE will be opened. At the office, patients will be consulted by ENT specialist Dr. Anastasia Korkova – a doctor with extensive knowledge and experience in the field of otolaryngology.

Dr. Korkova will be seeing patients every Monday from 8:00 to 12:00 with consultations available through a health fund or for a fee. (The health funds with which the Eye Hospital and MC ‘PENTAGRAM’ collaborate can be seen here).

Dr. Korkova is among the few specialists recently who examines and treats not only adults, but also children.

Dr. Anastasia Korkova is an ENT specialist with over 7 years of experience. She conducts diagnostic and consultative examinations and treatment of diseases of the ears, nose, and throat.

Her professional interests include:

• Otologic surgery
• Endoscopic sinus surgery
• Surgical treatment of snoring and sleep apnea
• Pediatric otorhinolaryngology
• Hearing impairment diagnostics
• Microlaryngosurgery.

She graduated in Medicine from the Medical Faculty of Sofia University in 2017 and obtained her specialty in Otorhinolaryngology in 2022 after specializing at one of Bulgaria’s major ENT clinics, the Military Medical Academy – Sofia.

She is an active member of the Young Otolaryngologists of the International Federation of Otorhinolaryngological Societies and a junior member of the European Rhinologic Society.

She has participated in numerous national and international congresses and seminars in her specialty, including:

• Endoscopic dissection course of the nose, paranasal sinuses, and tear ducts on cadaver 2019, Plovdiv;
• Otology and temporal bone surgery – 04-10.06.2023, Salzburg, Austria
• Course on hearing assessment in newborns using ABR test, ASSR – 24-27.06.2024, Lisbon, Portugal
