The new building of the specialized PENTAGRAM Eye Hospital is among the participants in the ‘Building of the Year’ competition in the category ‘Social Infrastructure – Health and Sports’.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Designed and built in harmony with the highest standards in the field of ophthalmology, the new building of the specialized PENTAGRAM Eye Hospital has a total built-up area of 3,000 sq. m. and offers patients a comfortable and cozy atmosphere. Here, advanced technologies and attentive care meet to provide top-class medical services.

The specialized PENTAGRAM Eye Hospital features:

– A modern operating unit с with four operating rooms, an anesthesiology room, rooms for preoperative preparation and postoperative stay.

– Specialized diagnostic and functional rooms for precise diagnosis and treatment of accommodation disorders, cataracts, glaucoma, retinal detachment, intraocular hemorrhages и foreign bodies in the eye.

– Medical equipment of the highest class, including: A(Angio) – OCT device for non-invasive diagnosis of macular diseases, retinal vascular diseases, diabetic retinopathy, and optic nerve disorders. Diagnosis of anterior eye segment diseases – cornea, glaucoma, and more. The latest model fundus camera from Zeiss Claruss-700,  A corneal topographer with the ability to examine the tear film and Meibomian glands, an ultrasound device for anterior and posterior eye segment, perimeter, YAG laser и green laser for the treatment of glaucoma, secondary cataracts, and diabetic retinopathy.

– Femtosecond laser by the company Bausch + Lomb’s, which can be used simultaneously for the treatment of cataracts, keratoplasty, as well as in refractive surgery, and the most advanced refractive laser, the latest generation by ZEISS, which removes diopters in cases of nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. The newest phaco machines for the surgical treatment of cataracts, as well as a combined machine for the anterior and posterior eye segment B&L Stelaris, used for operations on retinal detachment, macular diseases, and complications of diabetic retinopathy.
