Pentagram unveils pediatric ophthalmology and neurology offices

The Medical Center and Eye Hospital PENTAGRAM are taking another step in their development. Thirteen years after its establishment, the clinic is now focusing on children’s eye health. For the first time, a neurology office has also been opened.

The sector for the diagnosis and treatment of children’s eye diseases is located on the second floor. For now, consultations will be conducted by Dr. Nadezhda Muneva-Dragoev. It is planned that other pediatric ophthalmology specialists will gradually join the team.

“Dr. Muneva, who we trusted to mark the beginning of this new stage for the Eye Clinic and MC “PENTAGRAM”, is a young but very experienced specialist with excellent rapport with children,” explains Dr. Vesselin Daskalov, the hospital’s manager.

Dr. Nadezhda Muneva-Dragoev graduated in Medicine from MU-Sofia in 2019, after which she immediately began her specialization at the Visus Eye Clinic under the supervision of Associate Professor Violeta Chernodrinska. She earned her specialty in ophthalmology in 2024. Her professional interests focus on pediatric eye diseases, the diagnosis and treatment of strabismus, amblyopia, and myopia. Dr. Muneva examines newborns, children, and adults.

At “PENTAGRAM”, Dr. Muneva will see young patients on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Starting from September 15, 2025, MC “PENTAGRAM” will introduce another new field – NEUROLOGY.

Consultations in the specialized office will be conducted by Dr. Ginka Cherneva-Dimitrova. Dr. Cherneva-Dimitrova is a doctor with 35 years of experience. She graduated from the Medical University – Sofia in 1990 and obtained her specialty in Neurology in 1995. Her professional path began at the Municipal Hospital in the town of Godech. Subsequently, she was part of the team at the multidisciplinary hospital in Ihtiman, as well as several medical centers in Sofia. Her professional interests lie in diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system (cerebrovascular diseases, vestibular disorders, radicular syndromes, etc.)

At MC “PENTAGRAM”, Dr. Cherneva-Dimitrova will see patients every Monday between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM.

Appointments with Dr. Muneva-Dragoev and Dr. Cherneva-Dimitrova can be made via the online platform of the Eye Clinic and MC “PENTAGRAM” or through SuperDoc. Dr. Cherneva-Dimitrova does not see children.
